I was commissioned to paint Dante for a friend.
Such a handsome and expressive face, a bit of a challenge with his unique markings.
Dante's portrait was created with unison and senellier soft pastels on Mi-Teintes Touch card. I like to incorporate some of the card colour in the final piece, helps to keep it fresh and vibrant ( I hope ! )
